The Makita DTW181 is an LXT 18v cordless impact wrench with a 12.7mm (1/2″) square drive and is part of the new range of “sub compact” 18v cordless tools from the LXT range that are lightweight and compact. The brushless motor requires no maintenance and is more efficient than a brushed motor, increasing battery run time by around 30%. Meaning less downtime charging batteries and twin LED lights illuminate the work piece when the trigger is operated.
