The Milwaukee HSS-G Thunderweb Metal Drill Bits are designed to drill into very hard materials and curved surfaces. Together with the right tool it would be used by trade professionals and some home DIY users. The drill bit has a very unique shape with its conical shaped web which gets thicker towards the back of the drill bit, rather than constant thickness throughout (the web is the internal core of the drill bit). The 135° split point allows for precision starting and quick penetration. It requires less effort/feed pressure, and perfect for drilling very hard materials and curved surfaces. Whilst the flatter twist angle creates smaller chippings, ideal for drilling harder steels i.e. Stainless Steel. This drill bit has a higher feed pressure and torque, preventing breakage and increases the working life span of the drill bit. Supplied as a 2pk.
