Description

The Milwaukee THUNDERWEB HSS-Ground Metal Drill Bits 6.5 x 101mm from ITS has a conical shaped web which gets thicker towards the back of the drill bit.  This design characterizes the THUNDERWEB series, and unlike standard drill bits which have a constant thickness throughout their length, the THUNDERWEB drill bits core is thicker than that of a standard drill bit.
The flute form removes hot chippings quickly and dissipates heat better.  The drill bit includes 135° Split point which allows for precision starting,  and won’t allow the drill bit to  walk on the material surface.
The drill bit has a polished finish which reduces friction and extends the operational life of the bit.  The bit also accepts higher feed pressure and torque – this results in a massive reduction in the risk of the drill breaking, especially when being used.
