The Milwaukee 11.5mm Red Hex Shockwave HSS-TiN Metal Drill Bit IS an impact rated drill bit for 1/4 hex shank for impact drivers.
Featuring Titanium Nitrade coating which dispenses heat, it makes the bit suitable for use at particular high speeds.
The Quad Edge Tip is unique combination of 135° split point and four cutting edges.  The split point allows for precision whilst the four cutting edges create smaller chips as well as preventing heat building up.
The bit includes an enhanced tapered web which strengthens the core to increase overall flute durability.
