1. Definitions

  • Us, We, Our — New Local Tools Ltd, registered at 153 Leytonstone Road, E15 1LH, London (“Seller”).
  • You, Your — The Buyer purchasing goods from the New Local Tools website.

2. Products and Pricing

  • We offer a wide range of construction tools and equipment.
  • Age-restricted items (18+) are sold only upon age verification.
  • All prices are displayed both inclusive and exclusive of VAT.
  • The Seller reserves the right to change product prices at any time. If an order has been placed but the price has increased, we reserve the right to cancel the order and issue a full refund to the Buyer.

3. Order Process

  • The Buyer can place an order via the website by selecting products, adding them to the cart, and completing the payment form.
  • Registration on the website is not mandatory for placing an order.
  • Visa Credit, Visa Debit, Visa Electron, Switch, MasterCard, PayPal, Digital Wallets & Retail Finance are accepted as methods of payment. All transactions are in pounds sterling unless otherwise stated.
  • We reserve the right to decline an order or cancel a transaction at our discretion.

4. Delivery

  • Delivery Options:
    – Standard Delivery (Tracked 48): £5.99.
    – Next Day Delivery (Tracked 24): £6.99.
    – Special Next Day Delivery by 1pm (for orders placed before 1pm): £16.99.
  • Delivery Times: Approximately 5 business days (Monday to Friday).
  • Once the order is handed over to the courier (Royal Mail), responsibility for any delays or losses lies with the courier. The Seller is not liable for indirect losses, including loss of profit or business.
  • Heavy/Large Items:
    – Items marked as “Heavy” or “Large” are only available for collection.
    – If a heavy or large item is in the cart, the entire order (including standard items) must be collected from the designated pickup point.

5. Stock Availability

  • We strive to ensure that all items listed on the website are in stock. However, there may be instances where products are temporarily unavailable due to manufacturing difficulties, unexpected demand, or other reasons.
  • If an item is unavailable, we will contact you to offer an alternative product or provide an estimated delivery timeframe.
  • Substitutions will not be sent without your consent. If you choose not to purchase an alternative product, a full refund, including delivery costs, will be issued.

6. Returns and Refunds

  • If for any reason an item purchased from us is not required it can be returned for refund if it is:

– Within 14 days of original order date. 

– Unused and returned in original undamaged packaging. 

  • Contact us on info@newlocaltools.co.uk. quoting the original order number.  We will then e-mail you a returns form which must be filled out and included with returned item.
  • If an item has been sent in error or is faulty/damage on receipt of delivery please notify us within 48 hours after receiving it via email on info@newlocaltools.co.uk.  Please quote your order number and a brief description of the problem. We will then arrange the return of the said goods from the customer in our database. Please ensure all original packaging is returned. On receipt of these goods, we will inspect them. If said faults are found to be true we will refund all costs (only the item, transportation costs are non-refundable.) or replace. We do however recommend inspecting all goods delivered before signing for them. If the outer packaging is damaged then sign “package damaged”.

7. Warranties and Guarantees

  • We provide a 1-year warranty on all cordless power tools purchased from our website, provided they are used properly.
  • Power tools are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty terms. We recommend registering your products on the manufacturer’s website to extend the warranty. 

8. Liability Limitation

  • We are not liable for damage or defects caused by improper use of the products.
  • All faulty products must be directed to the manufacturer’s authorized repair centres.

9. Force Majeure

  • We are not liable for delays or failure to fulfill obligations due to force majeure events, including but not limited to:
    – Strikes, civil unrest, military actions, epidemics.
    – Natural disasters (storms, earthquakes, floods).
    – Disruptions to transportation or telecommunications networks.
    – Legislative acts and government restrictions.
  • In case of force majeure, our obligations will be suspended for the duration of the event.

10. Changes to Terms and Conditions
