Description

The Milwaukee HSS Ground Cobalt Metal Drill Bit from ITS are incredibly durable and long lasting. The drill bit has been made from a solid, heat-resistant 5% cobalt-alloyed high speed steel produced according to DIN 338.  This means that it is capable of drilling in the steels and metals with easy – even the tougher metals will be dealt with easily. In fact, the bit is capable of drilling into metals with tensile strengths over 1000 N/mm² like stainless steel.  The drill bit utilises a QUAD EDGE Tip which is a unique combination of 135° split point and four cutting edges.  The 35° split point allows for precise, fast drilling start without walking or sliding across the material while the four cutting edges create smaller chips which in turn, prevents heat build up.
